Having spent some time in California, I doubt any of your former colleagues are interested to moving to Northern Manitoba in Canada just before winter sets in, but I've read your Chronicle colleagues who care: We're thinking of you blog a few times and remember well enough what it's like myself to be looking for a journalism job at various time over the years. We're owned by Glacier Ventures International Corp is in Vancouver, which owns 40 community papers in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec and British Columbia, including a lot on the on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. The B.C. papers include the Whistler Question, Squamish Chief, Lillooet Bridge River News, Sunshine Coast Reporter, Powell River Peak, Nelson Daily News, Cranbrook Daily Townsman, Kimberley Daily Bulletin, Trail Times, Fernie Free Press, Grand Forks Gazette, Grand Forks Boundary Bulletin, Creston Valley Advance, Kamloops Daily News, Prince Prince Citizen and Kodiak Press.
