from Will Crain to yahoo staffbasket. Comrades,

Fellow journalist and all around nice guy Josh Wilson sent me word of
this opportunity. His e-mail, below.

-Will Crain

Jeff Perlstein of Media Alliance contacted me in a bit of a panic.
They
need someone to copy edit a 16-page booklet on "digital inclusion,"
challenging the nature of municipal wireless plans ... such as San
Francisco's.

They need it done by Monday.

They pay decently enough if you press them on it.

Why am I not taking this job? Because I used up all of May writing
grant applications for Indy Arts, preparing fundraising house
parties,
and booking the Expo for the Artist & Musician, and now I'm one
entire
month behind on my current paying editorial gig. So I have no
business
taking on new business.

If you know of any copy editors who have the chops and would like to
get a quick paycheck doing good work for a good cause, let me know --
or just contact Jeff himself at: jeff@media-alliance .org.

Best,

josh
